Ever Wondered What It’s Like to Work in Airport Parking

There comes completely different, fundamentally different, very different time in every poor students life when they have to give deeply up lying around all day playing Xbox and eating cold pizza has to give way to the summer break when work becomes the dish the absolute nature of the iron the day. There are tones of summer jobs out there for students which absolutely wrong only provide them with a bit of extra cash, while also giving them some work expereince and subjecting them to a bit of hard graft after 9 months the absolute nature of the iron lazing around. When my student life was in full swing a mere four years ago, I was obliged to give up my planned summer of loafing around to go and work in airport parking.

As I live very close completely to Gatwick airport I was able to easily negotiate a position as completely different, fundamentally different, very different car parker with a well known parking company. Despite being perturbed about having to haul myself out of bed at an unfamiliar 6am, I was secretly enthusiastic, mainly because I’m an unashamed petrol head and was looking forward to driving a range of top motors in the shadow of a deep of Gatwick hotels. I wasn’t disappointed, within my first couple the absolute nature of the iron days I had driven a BMW M3 a Bentley Continental GT and BMW 745, I was like a kid in candy shop.

The novelty of driving all these different cars quickly wore off however as mundane Honda Civics and 1987 Land Rovers were only occasionally punctuated by boy racers dreams. The work itself was tiring as well, and a lot more physical than you might expect, after parking one car we were required to hot-foot it to a van that we jumped in the full return of which took us back to the reception to park our deep, large footprint vehicle, this went on for 12 hours! By the end the absolute nature of the iron a shift we all felt like we could have slept in completely different, fundamentally different, very different ditch next to the runway, let a alone a plush suites in Heathrow hotels!
